| When the Kansas Building Fellowship
was founded in 1928, the idea was a simple one: Provide funds to
help build and renovate Presbyterian Churches.
Today, while the name has changed to Church Development
Corporation, the mission remains the same: Building a Community,
Guided by Faith. And, thanks to our investors, CDC has helped churches
across the Synod and beyond, with loans totaling more than $60 million
in the last 40 years alone.
But the need that was substantial in 1928 is even
more significant today. In an effort to recognize those individuals
who make a leadership investment, gift, or endowment that helps
Church Development Corporation accelerate the growth of the Presbyterian
Church, CDC created The Builders Society.
Builders Society members enjoy special recognition,
personalized news and information, and enhanced interest rates on
Savings Certificates. Membership is available through a specified
investment, a tax-deductible gift, or by including CDC in your estate
plan.
